RESOURCES

It’s more important than ever to fill our hearts, minds and souls with content that gives us hope, builds our faith, and helps us to turn outward to others.

Do Follow our Podcast on Spotify to keep yourself filled and up to date with our encouraging teaching series on Sunday mornings as well as other reflections and ways to keep connected during this time

PRAYER

There are all kinds of ways we can pray. You can use set prayers - check out the Church of England for some guidance on this.

Set a reminder to pray the Lord’s prayer each day with the nation at 1pm.

You can find useful articles at the Mind and Soul Foundation.

CHRISTIAN GROWTH

Check out some useful websites for great resources to help us get closer to God during this time.

London Institute for Contemporary Christianity - a brilliant organisation helping every Christian know God can use them wherever they are.

Bible Project - a creative website with numerous videos helping people access the Bible as a whole.

Also, a great one-off article by author & theologian N.T. Wright (former Bishop of Durham) about the need to learn how to lament as Christians, rather than supply explanations for a pandemic, suffering and things we don’t understand.

Please find below a letter from Steve, the 2019 accounts and brief reports from Patricia for St Stephen’s Church and from Rich for Ackroydon Community Church.
