Lent is a special 40-day period for Christians leading up to Easter. It's a time for reflection, fasting, prayer, and penance, remembering the 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert. Lent kicks off on Ash Wednesday and wraps up on Holy Saturday, just before Easter Sunday. It's all about deepening faith and getting spiritually ready for the celebration of Christ's resurrection.

Diary of a Disciple
For Primary school children and their families, we’ll be journeying through Lent by following Luke's gospel with 'Diary of a Disciple'. You will be able to (either individually or with your families) read through 4 chapters a week over 6 weeks, learning all about Jesus through Luke's gospel in an amazing re-telling which is fun and interactive, finishing each week with activities, games and a summary of each section.
